So you've taken a course or two, and now you are looking for access to a studio. With our monthly memberships, you'll have the freedom to practice and create on your own time. These memberships are non-renewing, meaning that you are totally in control of your month-to-month membership. We do limit to 10 each month so folks will have plenty of opportunity to be on the wheel and/or have access to a table. You're welcome during any class time with a single class in the opposite classroom, whichever the instructor is not using, and during any Open Studio time. Access is not limited except by the membership level you choose. Additional clay can be purchased if desired, and any left over clay is yours to take and keep.
Contact the studio to begin your membership. All memberships expire one calendar month after purchase, i.e. a membership could run from June 15 - July 14. We do not auto-renew memberships, and artists are required to prompt the renewal. All artists are responsible for cleaning and putting tools away properly. Studio staff is on hand to locate items and assist with large spills, however, studio staff isn't necessarily teaching staff and may not be able to help troubleshoot a project. Instruction is not included in your membership, however, if you decide to switch to an 8 or 16 week class format, you are able to use remaining funds towards the class of your choice. Single classes can not be applied to this policy. If you do not utlize your membership to your contentment, you may not roll over unused portions to the next month. Artists are responsible for personal items left in lockers. Any item left past the membership's end must be picked up within seven days.
Harassment of any kind is not welcome in the studio. We do reserve the right to remove a member should harassment take place. This includes harassment based on sex, gender, gender expression, age, class, or profession. Harassment includes jokes, physical or verbal intimidation, unwelcome physical contact or proximity. All adults must be aware that this is a space shared with children, and children will occasionally be present in the studio. Simply put, kindness rules and all are welcome here.
If this seems like the right creative space for you, we're so happy you've landed here. Please contact the studio and let us answer any questions you may have.
